The Korea Meteorological Administration said on New Year's Day, the East Coast and Yeongnam regions are expected to see a clear sunrise in clear weather, but the amount of clouds will be slightly higher in other regions, so you can see the sun rising through the clouds.

The first year of the new year is expected to start with Dokdo at 7:26 p.m. and rise at 7:31 p.m. at Ganjeolgot in Ulsan, 7:32 p.m. at Homigot in Pohang, 7:39 p.m. at Jeongdongjin in Gangneung, and 7:47 p.m. in Seoul.

However, this year, it is expected that only sunrise will be available without performances or events in most local sunrise areas.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said there is no big cold on New Year's Day, but in the morning, the temperature in the central inland will drop to around minus 5 degrees Celsius, so it will be a little cold, and asked you to take care of your health.
