Officials from the presidential office, including Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-suk and National Security Office Director Shin Won-sik, paid tribute to the victims at a joint memorial altar in front of the main building of Seoul City Hall this morning (31st).
It is the first public schedule of the presidential office since President Yoon Suk Yeol was impeached due to the December 3 emergency martial law incident.
The presidential office said on the 29th that it will hold an emergency senior meeting presided over by Chief of Staff Chung, and that the presidential office and the national security office will maintain an emergency response posture around the clock, centering on the state affairs office.
