Overturning a ship in Gopado Island in the West Sea..."Two missing persons found dead".

Two missing people were found dead while an 83-ton ship capsized in the West Sea of South Chungcheong Province.

Taean Maritime Police Station said it found Captain A among the five missing people on the second floor of the ship at around 4:30 a.m. today (31st), and another missing person believed to be a foreigner was found in the ship around noon.

Two of the seven people on the ship at the time of the accident, including an excavator driver and a crane driver, were rescued earlier, and the Coast Guard is continuing to search for the remaining three missing people.

Earlier, around 6:30 p.m. yesterday, a roadway carrying vehicles or cargo overturned in waters near Gopado Island, Palbong-myeon, Seosan-si, Chungcheongnam-do.

Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Robber asked the Korea Coast Guard to do its best to save and search lives by mobilizing all available means.
