The presidential office said all of the senior secretaries, including Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok, Chief of Policy Seong Tae-yoon, Chief of National Security Shin Won-sik, and Special Adviser for Foreign Affairs and Security Jang Ho-jin, have repeatedly offered to resign to Acting President Choi.
Earlier on the 4th, in the aftermath of Yoon Suk Yeol's emergency martial law incident, three senior presidential chiefs and senior secretaries and above expressed their resignation en masse.
