The Democratic Party of Korea said last year's martial law incident and the plane disaster forced our society to pass a time of despair, stressing that it will return the calmness of daily life to the people and their families this year.

Spokesman Kim Sung-hoe said in a written briefing, "The president declared martial law and suppressed the National Assembly and the people, and the bereaved families are suffering irreplaceable pain due to aviation accidents."

He added that he sincerely hopes 2025 will be a time for healing and recovery, adding that the Democratic Party will do its best to say that it was happy at the end of this year.
