The People's Power pointed out that the appointment of two constitutional judges by Acting President and Deputy Prime Minister Choi Sang-mok will be subject to responsibility and evaluation.

Kwon Young-se, chairman of the emergency committee, told reporters at the Yeouido headquarters, "As the administration is in a difficult situation, we will put the top priority on stabilizing state affairs as the ruling party, but we regret the appointment of a constitutional judge yesterday."

Kwon Sung-dong, the floor leader, also criticized that it would have been in line with the constitutional principles if Choi had made a decision after sufficient discussion at the Cabinet meeting, but wasn't it an arbitrary decision to omit such a process and announce his intention?
