The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said it will comprehensively examine whether the landing gear of the Jeju Air accident passenger plane operated during the first landing attempt.

As for how the plane landed in the direction of runway 19, which is the opposite of the first attempt, the pilot turned to the right as he tried to repeat it, and the controller guided it in the closest direction in the process.

It also added that there was a process in which pilots and controllers mutually agreed to try to land.
