After the memorial altar, former President Lee wrote in the guest book that he hopes the country will have a hopeful year of peace, forgiveness, and love for each other in the new year, sharing the sadness of losing loved ones.
About 50 people, including former Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik, former lawmaker Lee Jae-oh, former presidential chief of staff Ryu Woo-ik, and Na Kyung-won, the People's Power, joined the memorial service.
