Senior presidential staff, including Chief of Staff Chung Jin-suk, and acting chairman of the Korea Communications Commission have offered to resign to acting president Choi Sang-mok.

It is interpreted that Choi expressed his protest against the appointment of a constitutional judge, but the ruling party first emphasized "stabilization of state affairs" and responded somewhat differently.

Acting President Choi Sang-mok and other members of the State Council and staff from the President's Office visited the Memorial Park as the first schedule of the new year.

Acting President Choi and Presidential Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok were also spotted talking.

However, an hour later, the presidential office said that all of the senior secretaries, including Chief Jeong, expressed their resignation.

This is the second time after expressing a collective resignation early last month due to the emergency martial law situation,

This time, it was analyzed that Choi conveyed his protest against the appointment of two candidates for the Constitutional Court.

[Choi Sang-mok / Acting President (last month 31st): Please shake off political uncertainty with the appointment of a constitutional judge....]

Immediately after the appointment of the Constitutional Court justice, a high-ranking official in the President's Office expressed his regret, saying that it was beyond the scope of the authority to be restrained from the acting position.

For now, the acting president Choi drew a line that he has no plans to accept his resignation, saying he thinks we should focus on stabilizing people's livelihoods and state affairs.

However, a battle of truth broke out over whether to repair Director Jeong Jin-seok, revealing the confusion within the regime.

Earlier, at the Cabinet meeting, where the appointment of constitutional judges was formalized, multiple participants reportedly clarified their opposition, calling it a "one-sided decision."

In response, there was even talk of resignation, acknowledging that Choi had exceeded his authority, and Kim Tae-kyu, acting chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, actually issued a letter of resignation and protested.

It is unlikely that acting director Kim's resignation will be repaired, but if it is repaired, the Korea Communications Commission is expected to become a "zero-person system," increasing confusion.

The power of the people has repeatedly expressed regret over the appointment of a constitutional judge, but has begun to evolve, asking for "stabilization of state affairs" as a priority.

[Kwon Young-se / People's Power Emergency Committee Chairman: We want each of us to think carefully about what we need to stabilize the state of affairs, make a decision in that direction, and act in that direction.]

Since the appointment of a constitutional judge, there have been a series of complaints within the ruling party, but some point out that the ruling party cannot help but be conscious of the public opinion that wants to settle the impeachment situation.
