Gwangju City and the Jeollanam-do Medical Association said 30 doctors, including medical doctors, have been staying at the Muan Airport Medical Support Center since the 29th to help treat bereaved families and recover the bodies of victims.
Members of the Jeollanam-do Oriental Medical Association are also setting up a separate space next to the medical support center to conduct medical activities, and the Pharmaceutical Association is also helping to resolve the disaster by providing standing medicine and fatigue relief.
Jeollanam-do Province said more than 1,000 bereaved families have received medical support so far.
