President Yoon Suk Yeol's letter to supporters in front of his residence has raised concerns about clashes between the ruling party, the People's Power.

Senior spokesman Shin Dong-wook told reporters after the emergency committee, "We believe that the party is not going to make an official position, but it is right to refrain from situations in which our society is divided into two camps and there are concerns about physical conflict."

Kim Yong-tae, a member of the emergency committee, also said in an interview with SBS radio, "It may have been a message for the supporters, but the president's basic attitude is to unite the people," adding, "It is regrettable that it could lead to a clash between the two sides as a whole."

In the same vein, he stressed that the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and some organizations should also be avoided from the arrest of President Yoon or the distribution of text messages using guns by the security service.

Rep. Kim Sang-wook said on CBS radio that Yoon was a man who tried to destroy liberal democracy and dictatorship with an illegal coup, criticizing that hiding behind the public and repeating cowardly actions and words would be a shameful president until the end.

Rep. A, a second-term lawmaker, said in a phone call with YTN that it was beyond the normal category, and analyzed that the early response of President Yoon's aides reflects his desire to wait until the president returns.

First-term lawmaker B also told YTN that he thought the president's letter was fake news, expressing concern that the party needs to quietly settle and President Yoon's side should focus on the impeachment trial.
