After the passing of the president's impeachment bill, a rally at his residence continued
After the arrest warrant was issued, the rally movement intensified.
It is predicted that an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol will be executed as early as today (2nd).
The police are also closely watching the scene as citizens who support or oppose the impeachment of President Yoon continue to gather near the presidential residence.

How's the situation on the ground?
[Reporter]
Yes, the police are gathered in the alley behind me.
Citizens from both sides of the impeachment are facing each other through this alley where the fence is built.
In particular, citizens supporting the president are gathering quickly ahead of a full-fledged rally on the sidewalk across the street.
They are waving the Korean national flag and the American flag, holding up signs saying they oppose illegal elections and legislative dictatorship, and chanting "President Yoon Suk Yeol."
The rally near the Hannam-dong residence here continues after the impeachment motion against President Yoon passed the National Assembly.
As the court issued an arrest warrant and a search warrant for President Yoon, who is suspected of being the head of a rebellion, the movement against impeachment is especially intensifying.

Would it be affected by President Yoon's message of encouragement to rally his supporters yesterday?
[Reporter]
Yes, the president thanked him for coming out to protect the constitutional order of liberal democracy in the cold weather in his personally signed New Year's greeting yesterday.
It was about the fact that the Republic of Korea is in danger now due to the reaction of anti-state forces and that he will fight to the end to protect this country.
Supporters who received the text continued to rally until the middle of the night in an encouraging atmosphere, and the supporter who met with the reporters said it was a very good thing to send the letter and that he was encouraged.
On the other hand, some in favor of impeachment criticized President Yoon, saying he is not reflecting on his wrongdoings.
At 2 p.m. today, a press conference for emergency action is scheduled in front of the residence to urge the arrest of President Yoon.Amid observations that the execution of an arrest warrant for President
Yoon is imminent, tension is rising here.

Is there any sign of a warrant being executed?
[Reporter]
Our reporters have been here since around 7 a.m., but there is no full-fledged movement of investigators yet.
However, in front of the main gate of the official residence, the fence is double-layered and is blocked by a medium-sized bus.
Security is tight, with police task force buses and several small buses parked nearby.
Police officers at the scene are also keeping their seats and preparing for possible disturbances or clashes.
The Presidential Security Service maintains its existing position that "protection measures" will be taken in accordance with due process in relation to the execution of warrants.
As the security service has repeatedly blocked the search and seizure attempt by the joint investigation headquarters, there is a prospect that it can physically prevent the execution of the warrant by the joint investigation headquarters again this time.
However, as the court stipulates that the search warrant is an exception to the application of the criminal law clause, which states, "Places that demand military secrets cannot be seized or searched without the consent of the person in charge," some observers say that the situation will be different from the forced investigation.
If the government starts executing the warrant, large-scale police forces are expected to be mobilized to prevent conflicts with anti-impeachment rally participants.
