In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea demanded the formation of a special investigation team at the Ministry of National Defense, saying there are attempts to cover up and reduce the incident inside the military after the December 3 emergency martial law incident.

Rep. Park Sun-won, secretary of the Democratic Party's "Yoon Suk Yeol Insurrection Fact-finding Team," said at the meeting that he found that the military's internal network joint command and control system records suspected of deleting the situation log on the declaration of martial law or the issuance of level 2 alert.

The acting defense minister and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff then emphasized that these situation logs should be restored immediately and a special investigation team should be set up and submitted to the Joint Investigation Headquarters.

Rep. Choo Mi-ae, the head of the fact-finding team, said, "We received a tip that Roh Sang-won, the former intelligence commander, a key figure in the civil war, has taken over soldiers subject to promotion and demanded cash since March last year," adding, "We need to form a special investigation team to uncover crimes within the military."
