In a meeting with the bereaved family, Kwon Young-se, chairman of the emergency committee, said, "There may be people who are struggling to make a living because the head of the family has passed away, and there will be many other difficulties," adding, "We will support and resolve it as much as possible."
He also explained that he would do what the state should do, including creating a space to commemorate the victims, through consultation with the bereaved families.
Chairman of the Policy Committee Kim Sang-hoon, Lim Ja-ja, Choi Hyung-doo, Kim Yong-tae, and Choi Bo-yoon also visited the joint memorial altar to pay their respects to the victims.
