Three or four Boeing 737 operating manuals, also called QRH (Quick Reference Handbook), were found around the aircraft, according to MBN reports on the 3rd.
The aircraft manual is a thick, 2,000-page manual, usually equipped with two volumes, one each in the captain's seat and the captain's seat.
The manual page found indicated the distance that the Boeing 737-800 could fly with minimum power while lowering the landing gear. Information on the emergency landing procedure for emergency landing on the water was also found.
There were also marks on the page that appeared to have been intentionally ripped off, which experts believe were traces of the captain's efforts to land the aircraft with both engines turned off just before the accident.
Ko Seung-hee, a professor of aviation operations at Silla University, speculated, "Let's find out how far (the captain) can go to the bookkeeper, and let's find out how much he can respond."
Kim Kwang-il, a professor of aviation operations at Silla University, also predicted, "Since I can't see everything with it open, I think I quickly opened up the necessary parts and calculated and judged (the figures)."
Earlier on the 31st of last month, a video showed the captain sitting in the cockpit (passenger seat) just before the accident and struggling to stop the plane until the last minute.
The captain of the Jeju Air disaster airliner is a veteran of the Air Force with more than 6,800 hours of flying experience and was reportedly evaluated as having good flying skills among his colleagues.
