The presidential office issued a notification today and claimed that the accused seriously defamed the security office on the 31st of last month by spreading false information that the security office ordered the infiltration of Pyongyang drones and that Shin Won-sik, the chief of the security office, was also involved.
He also pointed out that he tried to tarnish the reputation of the security office by citing the so-called "North Wind Mall," which does not even exist.
In particular, he stressed that spreading false information about the National Security Office is a criminal act that harms national security, saying it is based on a report from an unknown person without any basis.
The security office added that it hopes to punish the accused through a thorough investigation, as it has filed a complaint to prevent further dissemination of fake news.
