Squid Game 2 and actor Lee Jung-jae will depart for LA today (3rd) to attend the 82nd Golden Globe Awards.

Squid Game 2, which was released on the 26th of last month, was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best TV Series Drama. It will compete with Disney+ 'Showgun', Netflix 'Diplomat', Apple TV+ 'Slow Hossis', Prime Video 'Mr & Mrs Smith', and Pickock 'The Day of the Jackal'.

Season 1 of 'Squid Game', which was popular worldwide, won the Best Director and Best Actor Award at the Emmy Awards, which is considered the most prestigious award ceremony in the U.S. broadcasting industry in 2022.

In the same year, he was nominated for Best Picture, Best Actor (Lee Jung-jae), and Best Supporting Actor (Oh Young-soo) at the Golden Globe Awards, but only Oh Young-soo was honored as the first Korean actor at the time.
