The joint memorial altar for the victims of the Jeju Air plane crash installed in front of the main gate of Seoul City Hall will be extended until the 10th.

Accepting the bereaved families' request to extend the memorial altar, the Seoul Metropolitan Government said it will operate the joint memorial altar until 10 p.m. on the 10th, which was planned to be operated until tomorrow (4th), the national mourning period.

Until yesterday (2nd), 23,500 citizens paid their respects at the joint memorial altar in front of Seoul City Hall, which began operation on the 31st of last month.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government also plans to operate an online memorial altar where visitors can leave memorial messages through the Seoul City Hall website from 8 a.m. the day after tomorrow (5th).
