The Presidential Security Service succeeded in preventing President Yoon's arrest by advocating "security measures according to legal procedures."

He made conflicting claims with the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit over whether there was any illegality in the execution of the warrant, including whether there was a physical fight, and blamed the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit for the illegality.

Immediately after the arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol was issued, the Presidential Security Service responded with "security measures in accordance with due process."

Chief of Security Park Jong-joon refused to open the door to the inside of the official residence, saying he did not allow the search due to the security law and the security area.

Director Park, a former deputy chief of the National Police Agency, has been acting as a escort for President Yoon, citing "absolute safety of those subject to protection" as the reason for existence.

There are conflicting opinions on whether the security agency has followed due process, although it has succeeded in preventing the arrest of President Yoon.

"There was a confrontation situation, but there was no physical fight," he said, making a different argument from the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, which said, "There was a big and small physical fight."

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit booked Director Park and others for illegally interfering with the execution of public affairs and demanded their attendance.

On the other hand, the security agency countered that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit had committed illegal activities by breaking into the security area without permission.

They say they used a police task force without a legal basis to break down the doors of security areas and military confidential facilities, and also injured workers.

He expressed strong regret and said he would hold those responsible and those involved legally responsible.

The security agency said it will continue to do its best to protect security targets in accordance with laws and principles, which is likely to prevent the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit from attempting to execute additional warrants.
