People's Power "Opposition Party's withdrawal of rebellion on grounds of impeachment is a trick."

The People's Power criticized the decision by the National Assembly's impeachment investigation team, which consists of opposition parties, to effectively withdraw the "crime of rebellion" from the reasons for President Yoon's impeachment, saying that it became inevitable to increase controversy over due process.

Joo Jin-woo, chairman of the party's legal advisory committee, explained on his SNS that the trial takes time because of the guarantee of the right to cross-examine witnesses for rebellion.

He then pointed out that the impeachment prosecution is trying to avoid the judicial risks of Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung by impeaching him as soon as possible with the rest of the crimes of rebellion except for the crime of rebellion.

In particular, he argued that the court's direct recommendation to withdraw the crime of rebellion was interpreted as an indication of the prediction of "impeachment citation," and that the Constitutional Court had a compromise with the Democratic Party.

The People's Power is expected to discuss the direction to respond to this at the general meeting of the lawmakers today (4th).
