The people's power makes the impeachment process ridiculous, and they argued that the case should be dismissed, but the Democratic Party refuted that it also happened during the impeachment of former President Park Geun Hye.

The People's Power took issue with the fact that the National Assembly's impeachment investigation team, consisting of opposition figures, effectively withdrew its claim that the declaration of emergency martial law constitutes a crime of rebellion under the criminal law in the preparation period for the impeachment hearing of President Yoon.

When the National Assembly voted on the impeachment bill, he claimed that he mocked the people, saying that he was accused of rebellion at the forefront and then removed it when the constitutional trial began.

In the end, he demanded an apology from the opposition party and a re-decision by the National Assembly, saying he would reduce the issue and conclude as soon as possible to hold an early presidential election.

In preparation for the Constitutional Court's hearing, it is only a summary of the issue that President Yoon will be punished for civil war under the criminal law, and that he will only argue that he violated the Constitution to the extent that he will be dismissed from office in the impeachment trial.

In the past, former President Park Geun Hye's impeachment trial did not deal with bribery charges, which were confirmed by the Supreme Court for the same reason, targeting floor leader Kwon Sung-dong, who was then chairman of the National Assembly's impeachment committee.
