"Ukra, Mi-A-Tax launch...to retaliate"

Russia has warned that Ukraine will retaliate, saying it has attempted to attack its territory with U.S. Attacks long-range missiles.

Russia's Ministry of Defense announced on the 4th local time that Ukraine attempted to attack the border state of Belgorod with the U.S.-provided Ae-Tax missile the day before.

The Ministry of National Defense said the missile was shot down by the air defense system and stressed that it would "revenge the actions of the Ukrainian regime, which received Western support."

Russia's Defense Ministry said it had shot down a total of eight Ae-Tax missiles and 72 drones the day before, and that it had attacked Ukraine's military airfield and drone storage.

Russia's defence ministry also says its forces have taken control of the town of Nadiya in Luhansk, eastern Ukraine.
