Foreign media reported casualties from bombings in Kanyunis in southern Gaza, Deir al-Bala in central Gaza, and Saraya in Gaza City.
The Israeli military said this week that Hamas operated in northern Gaza, which it uses as a shelter and terrorist base.
Israel said the prime minister's office will send a delegation to Doha, Qatar, to negotiate a ceasefire on the 2nd.
Hamas also issued a statement the day before, saying indirect negotiations would resume in Doha.
However, the two sides have not narrowed their differences on almost all issues, including whether Israeli troops are present in the "Philadelfi Corridor" between Gaza and Egypt, the daily Times of Israel reported.
