Jinju apartment fire in South Gyeongsang Province...40 million won in property damage

At around 2:50 a.m. today, a fire broke out in an apartment in Gangnam-dong, Jinju-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, causing damage estimated by the fire department of about 40 million won and extinguished in about 40 minutes.

The resident of the apartment on fire said he was sleeping in the master bedroom when smoke broke out and evacuated to the hallway.

No casualties were reported in the fire, and police and fire authorities are investigating the cause of the fire in detail.
