The scene of the Jeju Air plane disaster that killed 179 people.

Due to the sudden rain, we covered the tarpaulin to preserve the site.

After the disaster, the accident management headquarters searched the surrounding runways and reed fields, and for a week, the tail wings that remained in shape were lifted to look down.

DNA analysis found all the victims' remains and sent them back into the family's arms.

From suitcases and cell phones to cars, the delivery of family-stained items is also in the final stage.

[Park Sang-woo / Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport: We are conducting on-site inspections of bereaved families who wish to check unidentified articles in person. Cars have also received 19 applications for delivery, completing deliveries for five.

Families who received remains and belongings also entered the funeral, and large-scale searches and briefings on the site were also suspended.

However, the investigation headquarters decided to continue the small-scale search in preparation for further discoveries.

[Na Won-oh / Jeju Air Disaster Investigation Headquarters: The basic principle is that we do the same until we decide that we don't need a search anymore, but the large-scale search like this has ended until yesterday]

The investigation headquarters is speeding up its investigation into the cause of the accident by lifting the tail wings at the scene and lifting the wreckage of the engine and landing gear in turn.

With bereaved families demanding an independent and transparent investigation into the cause, attention is being paid to the remaining investigation process as most of the site's recovery is over.
