Hyundai Motor Group said it sold more than 1.78 million units in the U.S. last year, up 3.4% and more than 50,000 units from a year ago.
As a result, Hyundai Motor Group ranked fourth last year in the U.S. market for the second time after 2023.
GM kept the top spot, Toyota came in second and Ford came in third.
A Hyundai Motor Group official said that despite global uncertainties and regulations on the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act, sales of leisure vehicles and eco-friendly cars made good progress.
