There have been calls from within the police to mobilize all police forces, including commandos, to execute President Yoon Suk Yeol's arrest warrant.

In a statement today (5th), the National Police Workplace Council emphasized that the obstruction of the execution of the president's arrest warrant is a serious incident that threatens the existence of the rule of law in Korea.

He added that executing court-issued arrest warrants is the most basic and essential role of the police, and that the law should be enforced by any means.

He also criticized the presidential security service officials as a crime that denies the law and the constitution to interfere with it, and pointed out that those who want to neutralize the law should be severely punished with rebellion.
