The Palestinian Press Association said in a statement that Israeli forces committed 84 misconduct against journalists last month (December) within the Palestinian region, including Gaza.
Ten journalists were reported to have died during this period, and five of them were attacked while in a live car, the association said.
In addition, 20 journalists were captured by Israeli authorities and blocked from covering, seven of whom were imprisoned, the association added.
It is reported that there are 11 cases in which the Israeli military fired live ammunition at reporters.
Gaza's health ministry, which is ruled by Palestinian militant Hamas, said in a statement that 45,805 Palestinian residents have been killed and 109,64 injured since the war began in October 2023.
It also explained that 88 people were killed and 208 injured in the last 24 hours alone.
Gaza's health ministry does not distinguish between civilians and combatants in its casualty count.
