Today (6th), the last day of the validity of the court-issued arrest warrant for Yoon Suk Yeol's president, attention is being paid to whether the high-ranking government official's criminal investigation office and the police-organized joint investigation headquarters will try to execute the warrant again.

The deadline for President Yoon's arrest warrant, which was issued on the 31st of last month, is midnight today, and there are observations that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit can re-execute the warrant with the cooperation of the police.

Since the first attempt to execute the warrant failed due to the presidential security agency's blocking on the 3rd, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the police have been discussing countermeasures.

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit showed its willingness to re-enforce acting chief Choi Sang-mok by sending an official letter asking him to direct the security service to cooperate with the execution of the warrant, but it was found that acting chief Choi did not respond.

If the warrant expires without securing President Yoon, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit is also considering asking the court for an arrest warrant and obtaining it.

It is also reported that the government will consider requesting a preliminary arrest warrant immediately in consideration of President Yoon's opposition and the possibility of a conflict in the execution of the warrant.
