Due to the influence of smog from China, the air in the western part of the country has become cloudy, and Gangwon-do continues to receive a lot of snow.
Tomorrow, as cold air comes down from the north again, a strong cold wave is expected, and heavy snow is expected in Honam.
I'm connecting with the reporter.
Reporter Kim Min-kyung, please tell us the fine dust and snow conditions in detail.
[Reporter]
With smog from China flowing in overnight, the air quality in the west is poor due to stagnant airflow.
Currently, the concentration of ultrafine dust in Jeju Island has soared to the level of 'very bad', and the concentration of ultrafine dust in Chungnam, Jeonbuk, and Daegu is also in the 'bad' stage.
Air quality in Seoul is moderate, but it is likely to worsen in the morning due to the influence of smog from China.
On the other hand, Gangwon Province and Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province, where a heavy snow warning is in effect, continue to receive a lot of snow.
From midnight to now, 5 to 10 centimeters of snow fell in eastern Gyeonggi Province and Gangwon Province, including 9.8 centimeters in Wangsan-myeon, Gangneung, 9.4 centimeters in Girin-myeon, Inje, and 6.9 centimeters in Jokjo-myeon, Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do.
Snowfall has subsided more than in the morning, but it is expected that there will be some places where snow falls as snow clouds pass by morning.

Starting tomorrow, heavy snow is expected in Honam due to the strongest cold weather this winter?
[Reporter]
This is because a strong chill with upper temperatures below minus 30 degrees Celsius comes down from the north from daytime.
This morning, the temperature in Seoul was 2.2 degrees, far above the average of 7 degrees, but
It is expected to drop to minus 6 degrees tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and to minus 12 degrees on Thursday, the writing.
Cold wave warnings were also issued as of 10 a.m. in Gangwon Province and northeastern Gyeonggi Province as temperatures are expected to drop below minus 12 degrees Celsius in the morning for more than two days.
Along with a fierce cold wave, heavy snow is expected on the west coast and Honam south of Chungnam.
First of all, the amount of snow predicted from tomorrow to the day after tomorrow is more than 20cm in Jeonbuk, 15cm in Gwangju and Jeonnam, and 3 to 10cm in Chungnam and Jeju mountains.
This snow will continue until the second half of the week by repeating its strength and weakness.
In particular, strong snow of 3 to 5cm per hour is expected to be concentrated overnight tomorrow and the night after tomorrow, so thorough preparations such as facility inspection are needed in advance.
