The transfer of the flight recorder and FDR of the Jeju Air accident passenger plane, which was scheduled to be transferred to the United States this morning (6th), has been delayed.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said the FDR, which concluded that the connector was damaged and could not be extracted in the country, was originally scheduled to be transferred to the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board this morning (6th), but the flight was delayed by three hours due to heavy snow at Dulles International Airport near Washington, DC.

As a result, the flight recorder is not expected to be transferred to the United States until after 1 p.m. today.

Two investigators from the Air Rail Accident Investigation Committee will go to the United States to conduct an investigation together.
