The funeral ceremony of the late Lee Young-do Forest Service's aerial evolutionary crew, who died during rescue activities at Seoraksan Mountain, was honored as the head of the Forest Service at the Taebaek Highlands Gymnasium in Gangwon Province this morning (6th).

More than 500 people, including bereaved families and colleagues, attended the funeral ceremony, and the remains were buried at Daejeon National Cemetery.

After rescuing a fall patient near the valley in Convergence-dong, Seoraksan, on the 3rd, the member crashed 20 meters down on the helicopter and was taken to a hospital, but died.The deceased

has been an exemplary member of the Gangneung Forest Aviation Administration since 2022 and has been dedicated to forest fire extinguishing and rescue activities, receiving the Forest Service Commissioner's Award and the Forest Aviation Headquarters Commendation.
