The flight recorder of the Jeju Air accident passenger plane, FDR, has been transferred to the United States.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said a flight carrying FDR, which cannot be extracted in Korea due to a broken connector, left Incheon International Airport at around 1:15 p.m. today (6th).

The FDR was originally scheduled to depart Incheon this morning (6th) and be transferred to the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board, but the flight was delayed by three hours due to heavy snow at Dulles International Airport near Washington, DC.

Two investigators from the Air Rail Accident Investigation Committee also go to the United States to conduct an investigation together.
