Among the black boxes of the plane, the flight recorder left Incheon International Airport for the United States at around 1:15 p.m. with two investigators from our accident investigation committee.

The black box, which will play a decisive role in determining the cause of the Jeju Air plane disaster, was originally scheduled to be transferred to the U.S. National Transportation Safety Commission at 10:15 a.m. today (6th).

This is because the connector of the flight recorder is damaged, making it difficult to extract data in Korea.

However, heavy snow at Dulles International Airport near Washington, DC delayed the flight by three hours, leaving in the afternoon.

Earlier, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport decided not to disclose the contents of the transcript at the investigation stage, saying that it had finished writing the transcript of the voice recording device, another black box, but that the cause of the accident could not be revealed only by the transcript.
