The Constitutional Court has expressed its position on the exclusion of the National Assembly's reason for rebellion from the impeachment?

[Reporter]
Yes,
The
Constitutional Court said at a regular briefing at 2 p.m. today (6th) that there are no prestigious regulations regarding the controversy over the withdrawal of the crime of rebellion, and it is a matter to be judged by the court.

Earlier, the National Assembly excluded the charge of "insurrection" from the reason for the impeachment of President Yoon during the defense preparation period held on the 3rd.

Some also explained that there was no such fact about the claim that the crime of rebellion was withdrawn at the recommendation of the Constitutional Court. There was also a counterargument to President Yoon's complaint that

was a collective notification of the consecutive hearing dates.

The Constitutional Court emphasized that when the court holds arguments in accordance with Article 30 (3) of the Constitutional Court Act and the rules of the judgment, not the criminal procedure law, it can be summoned on a fixed date.

He also said he would proceed with the impeachment hearing five times and designate an additional date according to the progress, and that he would continue a quick and fair trial.

This morning, the first meeting of judges in the eight-member system was also held, right?

[Reporter]
Yes, the Constitutional Court said today that it discussed the proceedings regarding President Yoon's impeachment at a meeting of judges, and that it will hold a weekly review of judges and share the situation.

All eight judges explained that they reaffirmed their policy to hold the hearing twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday from the 14th.

The case of a power dispute over the failure of Acting President Choi Sang-mok to appoint one constitutional judge will be held at 10 a.m. on the 22nd.I did not accept a third party's request for a suspension of effect at the end of last year, asking the National Assembly to cancel the impeachment decision against President

Yoon.

He explained that he dismissed it without a hearing on the case because he did not meet the legal requirements for a claim, but he seems to be speeding up the handling of the impeachment trial.
