U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken says there is information that Russia intends to share advanced space technology with North Korea.

Speaking at a news conference after the South Korea-U.S. foreign ministers' meeting, Blinken said Russian President Putin was close to reversing decades of policy and tolerating North Korea's nuclear weapons.

At the same time, he revealed that there is reliable information that Russia intends to share advanced space technology and satellite technology with North Korea.

It also said that about 1,000 North Korean soldiers who participated in the war to help Russia were killed or injured, indicating that North Korea-Russia cooperation is intensifying.

"In terms of security, the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean cannot be separated," he said. "It is not only North Korea's artillery and troops but also support for dual technologies from China that allow Russia to continue to attack (Ukraine)."

"South Korea is playing an important role in providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine," Blinken said, adding that efforts by South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand to expand cooperation with NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) are important in solving the problem.
