Gimje Duck Farm in Jeollabuk-do Province, highly pathogenic AI...21st confirmed nationwide

High-pathogenic avian influenza and AI have been identified at a duck farm in Gimje, Jeollabuk-do.

The Central Disaster Management Headquarters said it will conduct detailed inspections of 69 duck farms in Jeonbuk by the 10th, along with quarantine measures such as burying and disposing of 16,000 ducks raised on farms.

As a result, the total number of highly pathogenic AI cases at poultry farms nationwide has increased to 21 since October last year, with Jeonbuk having the highest number of cases with six.
