Vegetable prices, including seasonal fruits such as strawberries and tangerines, have jumped, and the government plans to announce measures to stabilize prices of high-quality products for the Lunar New Year as early as this week.

The fruit stand at the supermarket is full of seasonal strawberries.

Due to sluggish growth due to high temperatures in summer, the price is more than 20% higher than usual, so consumers cannot easily put it in their shopping cart.

Prices of major holy water products are rising one after another 20 days before the Lunar New Year holiday.

As of the 6th, the average retail price of a cabbage was 5,200 won, up 65% from last year.

During the same period, radish jumped even more to 80%.

This is because germination was sluggish last year due to the heat wave of the sowing season, resulting in a decrease in winter radish production.

The same goes for winter's representative fruits and tangerines.

Citrus prices are 70% higher than usual as the heat wave caused a "heat fever" phenomenon in which fruits split last summer, reducing commercially available supplies.The price of

Consumers are worried that prices will rise further as the holiday approaches.
