The fourth anniversary of the January 6th parliamentary riot...Harris Announces Trump Victory

The U.S. Congress has officially certified Trump's presidential victory according to procedures.

Coincidentally, it's the same day that the Trump-triggered U.S. Capitol riot happened four years ago.

Donald Trump who defied the presidential election and incited a congressional riot.

Four years later, on the same day, a joint session of the House and Senate was held at the same venue to officially certify Trump's presidential victory.

Lawmakers from the ruling and opposition parties took turns reporting state-by-state election results, and Republicans celebrated their victory with standing ovations.

Vice President Harris, who also serves as Senate president, personally announced Trump's victory, a former presidential contender.

[Camala Harris / U.S. Vice President: Donald Trump of Florida received 312 votes. Kamala Harris of California received 226 votes.

Earlier, Trump wrote on his social media that Congress certifies our great victory, calling it a historic moment.Speaking on the radio

, he said that unlike in the first term of power, everyone is now on his side.

In a Washington Post op-ed, President Biden said there were attempts to erase or reduce the Capitol riot four years ago, stressing that the 1.6 incident was a must-remember event.

He said he was proud that American democracy endured mob attacks and should be happy to not see such a shameful attack this year.

Two weeks before his inauguration, Trump has vowed to pardon his participants, glorifying the Capitol riot as a "Day of Peace and Love."
