A man in his 40s who murdered a woman in her 20s who was a neighbor of Gosiwon was arrested by the police.

On the 6th, Yeongdeungpo Police Station announced that it has urgently arrested a man in his 40s for murder on the previous day (5th).

A is accused of killing a female guest of a Gosiwon who was living near A's room at a Gosiwon in Dorim-dong, Seoul, at around 10 p.m. on the 4th.

A turned himself in to the police at around 4:30 p.m. on the 5th, the day after the crime.

It is known that A lived in the same Gosiwon with the victim, but had no close relationship.

Yonhap News TV reported that A committed the crime on the grounds that "I asked the victim to give me the number, but I was rejected."

The police are investigating the details of the incident against A and plan to apply for an arrest warrant for A.
