Police are investigating 144 malicious posts about the plane disaster.

The National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters said it is investigating 144 malicious posts that slander the victims of the Jeju Air plane disaster and their families as of 5 p.m. yesterday (6th).

He also stressed that he is investigating all reports related to malicious posts, and that he plans to identify and arrest the publisher as soon as possible in consultation with the bereaved families and others.

Police said it was a serious criminal act to indiscriminately post malicious posts and videos online and urged them to stop such actions so that bereaved families would not suffer.
