The head of the high-ranking government official's criminal investigation office, who caused controversy by entrusting the police to execute the arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol, avoided explanation by staying silent on his way to work.

Oh Dong-woon, head of the high-ranking government official's crime investigation department, went to work at the Gwacheon Government Complex this morning (7th) without answering reporters' questions about whether he would meet with Acting President Choi Sang-mok or the controversy over the execution of the warrant.

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit said it would appoint the police to execute the arrest warrant for President Yoon after failing once, but immediately withdrew it when the police refused, saying there was an illegal problem.

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit re-applied the warrant to the Seoul Western District Court yesterday (6th) to extend the deadline for President Yoon's arrest warrant, and it is expected to be decided as early as today.

At 2 p.m. today (7th), Minister Oh will appear at the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee to answer questions from ruling and opposition party members regarding the execution of the warrant.
