Seoul Superintendent of Education "Strengthening Basic Academic Security...Strengthen history education"

The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education will strengthen customized diagnosis and education support to ensure students' basic academic ability.

Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Superintendent Chung Geun-sik held a New Year's press conference today (7th) and announced major work plans for the city's education office this year.

In order to overcome the educational gap of students, superintendent Chung plans to establish a Seoul Regional Learning Diagnostic Growth Center in each of the four districts and expand it to 25 autonomous districts by 2027.

In addition, four science education centers will be expanded to a math science convergence education center, and a math jumping school and a leading math evaluation school will be established to create a blister-free classroom.

In order to strengthen history education, we decided to form a history education advisory group in the main office and run an exploration program such as field trips to Korean history.
