[Weather] 'Snow Warning' issued in Gochang and Buan, Jeollabuk-do...strong and heavy snow

Due to strong and heavy snow on the west coast of Jeollabuk-do, a "heavy snow warning" has been issued for Gochang and Buan areas from 1 p.m. today.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said that as of 1 p.m., more than 10cm of snow fell in Gochang and Buan areas where heavy snow warnings were issued, and more than 20cm of snow fell in the future, so that the total accumulated snowfall will accumulate more than 30cm by the day after tomorrow, the 9th.

In addition, heavy snow warnings were issued in Gwangju, Yeonggwang and Mokpo in Jeollanam-do, Gunsan in Jeollabuk-do, Taean in Gimje in Chungnam, and mountainous Jeju, with about 5cm of snow falling.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) urged special attention, saying that heavy snow will fall up to 40cm in the southern part of North Jeolla Province, more than 30cm in the mountains of North Jeolla Province and Jeju, and more than 20cm in the west coast of South Chungcheong Province by the day after tomorrow, which is Thursday.
