[Incheon] Songdo Housing Site to Build Yeongjong International School...passing of investment deliberation

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority said the agreement to use profits from the development of Songdo International City housing sites for the construction of Yeongjongdo International School has passed the deliberation of the Incheon Investment Promotion Planning Committee.

The main point of this project is to secure funds for the establishment of international schools in Midan City, Yeongjong-do by utilizing the development profits from the third stage of the Incheon Global Town.

Incheon Global Town is a project to develop a living space for overseas Koreans in Korea, and the third stage includes the creation of 1,745 apartment houses and sales facilities with 37 floors above ground, two floors below ground, and a total floor area of 369,305㎡ on the Rc1 site in Songdo District 11.

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority will invest about 150 billion won of the project's development profits to establish an international school on 96,000 square meters of land in Midan City, Yeongjong-do, Unbuk-dong, Jung-gu.

Currently, an international public offering for foreign school corporations is underway with the aim of opening an international school in 2028.
