Oh Dong-woon, head of the high-ranking government official's crime investigation department, criticized, "Resisting the execution of arrest warrants issued by the court with security rights is an act that shakes the foundation of the rule of law."

Minister Oh answered questions about the execution of arrest warrants at a plenary session of the National Assembly's Legislative and Judiciary Committee today (7th).

Regarding the request for an arrest warrant to the Seoul Western District Court, not the Seoul Central District Court, he refuted that it followed the usual procedures, and that an arrest warrant was inevitably issued regardless of which court it was placed in.

Director Oh also replied that the warrant judge's statement that the penal law clause, which states that "the search can be rejected for military thought and official secrets," does not apply, "It is a confirmation of the law of course."
