The cold is expected to peak this Thursday, and the temperature felt in the Seoul metropolitan area, including Seoul, is expected to drop to around minus 20 degrees Celsius.

Both the mountain valley temple and the bare branches are covered with thick snow blankets.

With the first cold wave of the new year freezing across the country, heavy snow fell on the west coast.

Snow clouds created by the cold air of minus 40 degrees Celsius passing through the West Sea intensively sprayed snow in Honam and Chungcheong areas.

In particular, heavy and strong snow of 3 to 5 cm per hour is expected to fall in some areas, raising concerns about damage to facilities.

In addition, as the wind blows strongly, the momentum of the cold wave is expected to increase for the time being.

In particular, Dong-gu's grumpiness will peak on Thursday, with the morning wind chill plummeting to around minus 20 degrees Celsius in Seoul and other metropolitan areas.
