Acting President Choi Sang-mok, who presided over the first Cabinet meeting of the new year, said each member of the State Council should fulfill his duty with the responsibility of being an "acting authority" in his field.
When Acting President Choi appointed two constitutional judges on the 31st of last month, some members of the State Council protested, emphasizing the "one-team administration."
Acting President Choi said he would do his best to ensure early stability in state affairs and the recovery of the people's livelihood, and that he would only fear the evaluation of the people and history.

In the midst of political uncertainty, Choi said that many people are worried that the government will not neglect the people's livelihood and people's safety, and that he will make an all-out effort to "respond to the crisis" with extraordinary determination.
