"We are currently testing it, and we are confident it will succeed," said Jensen Huang, CEO of artificial intelligence chip leader Nvidia, regarding Samsung Electronics' high-bandwidth memory (HBM).

CEO Hwang said at a press conference in Las Vegas, where the world's largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition is being held, "I am confident of Samsung's success, just as I can be sure that the day after Tuesday is Wednesday."

HBM is a high value-added, high-performance product that vertically connects several DRAMs to speed up data processing compared to existing DRAMs, and SK Hynix is delivering it to Nvidia, but Samsung Electronics is testing it.

CEO Hwang also said, "I'm going to meet with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, and I'm looking forward to it."
