Real House, a real house company specializing in sales evaluation, compiled the subscription home data and found that the average sale price per square meter of apartments newly sold in Seoul last year was 19.97 million won.
This is a 33.6% increase compared to the same month last year, and an 80% increase compared to the price of 11 million won in early 2021.
The reason for the surge in apartment prices in Seoul last year is that sales were concentrated in three Gangnam districts, especially the "Fozeth Han River" in Gwangjin-gu, where the sale price per square meter was 40.29 million won.
Last year, the national average apartment sales price growth rate rose 12.6% year-on-year.
